چکیده

In this paper, we consider the inverse problem of determining location and shape a sound-soft or sound-hard obstacle from modulus total-field collected on measured curve for an incident point source. We propose system nonlinear integral equations based iterative scheme to reconstruct both obstacle. Several validating numerical examples are provided illustrate effectiveness robustness proposed inversion algorithm.

Obstacle avoidance for an autonomous vehicle using force field method
This paper presents a force field concept for guiding a vehicle at a high speed maneuver. This method is similar to potential field method. In this paper, motion constrains like vehicles velocity, distance to obstacle and tire conditions and such lane change conditions as zero slop condition and zero lateral acceleration are discussed. After that, possible equations as vehicles path ar...
متن کاملRecovering an electromagnetic obstacle by a few phaseless backscattering measurements
We consider the electromagnetic scattering from a convex polyhedral PEC or PMC obstacle due to a time-harmonic incident plane wave. It is shown that the modulus of the far-field pattern in the backscattering aperture possesses a certain local maximum behavior. Using the local maximum indicating phenomena, one can determine the exterior unit normal directions, as well as the face areas, of the f...
متن کاملAn Iterative Scheme for Matrix Factorization with Missing Data
Several factorization techniques have been proposed for tackling the Structure from Motion problem. Most of them provide a good solution, while the amount of missing and noisy data is within an acceptable ratio. Focussing on this problem, we propose to use an iterative multiresolution scheme, with classical factorization techniques. Information recovered following a coarseto-fine strategy is us...
متن کاملIterative Equalization and Decoding Scheme for Underwater Acoustic Coherent Communications
Digital communications through underwater acoustic (UWA) channels differ from those in other media, such as radio channels, due to the high temporal and spatial variability of the acoustic channel which make the available bandwidth of the channel limited and dependent on both range and frequency. In order to overcome disadvantage factors and maximize performance to conduct real-time information...
متن کاملIterative scheme for computing exactly the total field propagating in dielectric structures of arbitrary shape
We present a new approach to the computation of an electrical field propagating in a dielectric structure. We use the Green's-function technique to compute an exact solution of the wave equation. No paraxial approximation is made, and our method can handle any kind of dielectric medium (air, semiconductor, metal, etc.). An original iterative numerical scheme based on the parallel use of Lippman...
